Dr. Jennifer Alderman was born in Bradenton, Florida. She moved to Gainesville to go to the University of Florida for college.  She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Florida.  She then attended medical school at the University of Florida.  She had the distinction of being accepted into Alpha Omega Alpha honor society in her third year of medical school.  She decided to stay at the University of Florida for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology.  This is where she met Dr. McLean and Dr. Ross.  During residency, she published several scientific papers related to abnormal Pap smears, infertility, and general gynecology. 


After completing residency, where she was selected, Resident of the Year, she joined Dr. McLean and Dr. Ross in private practice.  Dr. Ross and Dr. Alderman practiced obstetrics until September 2005.  She especially enjoys the lifelong continuity of patient care that is involved in women’s healthcare.  She is also interested robotic surgery, and pelvic relaxation surgery. 


She was married in 2005.  Her husband is a realtor in Gainesville.  They have an adorable daughter.  She enjoys biking and running.
